New Zealand has one of the highest rates of drug and alcohol use in the Western World.
The skills required to support loved ones who are in the grips of an addiction are not something we are born with. Family and friends need help when going through the agonising daily trauma of having an addicted loved one. It is Brave Hearts mission to provide this greatly needed service through group meetings, phone support and counselling.
Brave Hearts NZ relies on grants, donations and volunteers etc to provide this service to people in our community trying to support and help their loved ones who are struggling with substance use.
